About us
Welcome to Play Dough Preschool
Play Dough Preschool was founded in 1997 and is run by a non-profit organization, Yayasan Anak Mandiri. At Play Dough Preschool, children play while building their knowledge and making sense of the world around them. We understand that children view the world differently, and learn in their own unique ways.
According to psychologist, Jean Piaget, children are active learners who learn best from doing what interests them, therefore they should be given the opportunity to experience different kinds of activities so that they may gain knowledge and skills from them.
We support these active learners by providing a supportive and nurturing environment (consistent Daily Routines, different Interest Areas with a wide variety of materials, and daily Individual Observations).
